The Introduction to English Comp 101

Yesterday we received our first homework assignment of the year; to read the introduction in our text books. To sum it up, this pretty much gives an overview, like all text books do, regarding the information to follow and how to use it to the best of your ability. The introduction gave many reasons to write and write often, and said that wrinting and reading frequently increase your skills in the other one.
Tonight is the first football game. I am relatively excited, although that usually leads to dissapointment. We'll see if this is worth the hype or not. We are favored to win by a landslide, so I guess we'll win but it won't be by the propecised landslide.
I am really busy and it stresses me out. Tomorrow I have a cross country meet early in the morning and then strait to work. So by the time I get to work I will be exhausted already, and then have to put in eight hours.

Here's to my blog.

Today is the second day of school. Yesterday was rough, but then again when is a first day of a school year considered fun? Today was, therefore, better than yesterday but not by much. My schedule is relatively simple. It accomidates the courses that are required for me to graduate, so I guess I shouldn't complain. I have two study halls too many in which I do virtually nothing. My calculus class seems like its going to be difficult, but the new teacher is friendly enough. I'm excited for Environmental Science and the many field trips that are included, as well as English and Psychology just because they are topics that I enjoy and the teachers are fun.
School today went faster than yesterday which is definitly a good thing. I get out of my period twelve class early today for a Cross Country scrimmage at Tulpehocken. Their course is very difficult so i hope I finish with a good time. That's about all for today, now I'm off to Spanish IV!
